At Silver Eagle Aussies, we believe that dogs are more than "man's best friend", they are family. In the wild, when a puppy comes into this world, they are completely helpless and dependent on the love and attention given them by their mother. Yet when a puppy is born here, they are surrounded by more than their littermates, but by a family that loves protects them until they are ready to join their forever home.
From the day that we added our first ever aussie to our home many years ago, we immediately fell in love with the breed. Smart, strong, playful and energetic, our lives were definitely changed for the better. We did not plan on oneday raising "Aussies". Years later, after much research, time, planning and consideration we decided to contribute our small part towards helping to share the joy of having an Aussie, with others. From that, SIlver Eagle Aussies was born.
Raising Aussies is not for the faint of heart. They are born helpless, eyes and ears closed, totally dependent on the care they receive from both us and their mother. Yet they quickly grow and after only a few weeks their eyes and ears have opened, they are walking and talking and when that happens, the fun really begins.
However, the fun doesn't last for long as we ultimately know that each pup has a family out there somewhere, waiting for the day when they will light up their life as much as they have lit up ours. Until then though, we get the honor and privilege of spending two or three months with the most adorable puppies, who truly are part of our family.
